Update: Male suspect from the Douglas street bank robbery has been arrested tonight.

Victoria Police have released photos from surveillance video of a man robbing the Bank of Montreal in the 1200-block of Douglas Street this afternoon.
The suspect is described as a caucasian male between 55 and 65 years old. The man is approximately 6 feet tall, has a medium build with dark brown hair and a black moustache with grey “chin-strap” style beard.
He was wearing a black jacket with a hood, dark pants and white shoes.
He was last seen leaving the bank just before 1pm today. No weapons were produced and the man fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The Bank of Montreal in James Bay was also robbed earlier today. We have reached out to VicPD to see if they are related.
