“A community radio is an essential tool for any community that wishes to flourish. Here in the Greater Victoria, it helps the Francophonie to reverberate. For our Francophile friends it acts as an incentive to develop this cultural wealth that speaking another language is. Our radio unites us in a common goal of communication and entertainment, but also offers us a way to get to know each other, recognize one another and contribute to the development of a vibrant community of Francophones and Francophiles,” says CILS’s President Yolaine Petitclerc-Evans.
