Did you see the tweet posted by the Richmond RCMP in early March of a Richmond woman’s long list of charges for distracted driving?
In case not… here is a refresher:
After an officer had a near hit with the distracted driver, RCMP Corporal Dennis Hwang decided to post the following tweet, showing the long list of charges the woman in her 40s who is an “experienced driver” already had:

The woman had 12 distracted driving citations between 2011 and 2015.
A few days later, the Vancouver Police tweeted they have requested that the driver in question have her licence suspended after receiving her 14th ticket.

Richmond RCMP tweeted on Tuesday that the driver has now been prohibited from driving. The length of the driving ban is unknown.
Do you recall the #distracted driver we tweeted about? They are now prohibited

“When I originally made that tweet, it was because of the sheer outrageousness of what one of our officers had encountered,” Hwang told Vancity Buzz.
