Fiesta on Fort

  • What: A large Pop Up Park will be set in the morning along the north side of Fort Street in front of La Taqueria for everyone in the area to enjoy throughout the day. At 5:00pm many of the businesses along the block will remain open. DJs will set up near the parklet and provide music on the street for the evening.
  • Where: 700-block Fort Street
  • When: 5:00-8:30 pm

Oaklands Sunset Market – Kids Vendor Day!

  • What: This week is the last Kids Vendor Day of the season! Come to the market for a full line-up of talented kids, farmers, vendors, food trucks, musicians, and a bouncy castle! The Oaklands Market is a free weekly outdoor market that runs every Wednesday from June to September offering local fresh food, live music, a beer garden, community events and a chance to meet your neighbours.
  • Where: Oaklands Community Center, 2827 Belmont Ave, Victoria
  • When: 4:30-8:30 pm

August Oak Bay Village Night Market

  • What: Over 100 local vendors! Lots of in-season produce, flowers, artisan bread, preserves, street food, tastings and sales of wine, cider, beer and spirits. Huge variety of artisans selling jewellery, toys, pottery, wood turning, art cards, furniture, paintings, clothing, pet items and more! Live music by Karly Summers and Dave Lang and the Insolent Rabble.
  • Where: Oak Bay Village
  • When: 4:00-8:00 pm

Summer in the Square Lunchtime Concerts

  • What: Bring your lunch and some sunscreen and soak up some sun and free tunes. From classical to world beat, folk to jazz and baroque to blues, there’s something for everyone. Today Kemal Evans.
  • Where: Centennial Square
  • When: 12:00-1:00 pm

Discover the Past – Ghostly Walks

  • What: Behind Victoria’s old-world charm lie tales of eccentric characters, heroic deeds, intrigue, love, humour, hangings, murder… and GHOSTS! During the tour, expect to hear great storytelling as you are guided through the streets and alleys of Victoria, a ghost-hunter’s paradise.
  • Where: Visitor Information Centre at 812 Wharf Street
  • When: 7:30-9:00 pm
