Man confuses staff member in a way that he was able to obtain the money

VicPD investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in relation to a fraud that occurred on August 16th.

Victoria police were called to Roast Meat & Sandwich Shop in the 1700-block of Douglas Street after a staff member said a man had defrauded them out of an undisclosed amount of money.

Staff stated that the man attempted to pay for something, repeatedly swapped currencies, and was very demanding. He was able to confuse the staff member in a way that he was able to obtain the money.
