Police release sketch of suspicious male following teenager several times in Langford

West Shore RCMP released a sketch of a suspicious male who is alleged to have followed a female teenager several times in the area of Lakehurst Dr, in Langford.

The investigation began on January 28.

Police said the suspect is alleged to have followed a female teenager in the early morning hours, between 5:45 a.m. – 6:13 a.m., several times, for approximately two weeks, before she reported it to police.

The man has been seen on foot and a bicycle. On one occasion, the male was on a bike and began chasing the female, who managed to flee on her bicycle.

He is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 40 – 50 years old
  • Bad skin with blisters on cheeks and sides of eyebrows
  • Brown hair that is greying

Police say numerous resources have been dedicated to this investigation since the initial report, including members of the West Shore RCMP General Investigation Section, Crime Reduction Unit and Community Policing Section.

On February 9th, 2017, police were able to obtain a composite sketch of the suspicious male.

“We are asking the public to take a good look at this sketch and are hoping to identify who this man is and what his intentions are,” states Cst. Alex Bérubé, spokesperson of the West Shore RCMP.
