Police investigate attempted child luring at Cecelia Ravine Park

Victoria police are investigating yet another alleged attempted child luring after a man tried to lure two girls at Cecelia Ravine Park on Monday.

Police said the latest incident happened shortly after 4pm.

According to police, a 12-year-old reported that she and her friend were approached by a man who tried to get her to go to a secluded part of the Cecelia Ravine Park.

The girls ran away and got help from a parent. Both kids were uninjured.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 25-years-old, over six feet tall, with dark brown, straight hair.

He was wearing dark coloured ball cap, blue denim frayed shorts carrying a basketball. He was also wearing black Adidas runners with three white stripes.

It is believed that the man has a moustache and a light goatee.

Detectives do not believe this incident is connected with any other incident in the Victoria.
