Saanich woman’s disappearance now deemed suspicious

The case of a woman who went missing in Saanich in late July has now been deemed suspicious by police.

25-year-old Euarchol Wanichpan was last seen by a friend on the evening of July 30 and reported missing to the Saanich Police Department on July 31.

Investigation Turned Over to Major Crime Unit

Since her disappearance police have pursued a number of investigative avenues. Given the suspicious nature of Euarchol’s disappearance, the investigation has now been turned over to the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU).


Euarchol Wanichpan, who is also known as “Ella” or “Eura”, is described as an Asian woman, 5 feet tall and approximately 105 pounds. She has brown eyes and dyed blond hair. She has a number of tattoos including a hummingbird/flower tattoo on her shoulder, a ship anchor on her right knee and a ship wheel on her left knee.
