It’s Good Friday! Let’s make it a Great Friday!
Here are 5 things happening in and around Victoria today!
What: Get into the April Fool’s spirit by taking part in the scavenger hunt. Pick up a handout, featuring important clues, at the Box Office and see if you can spot the subtle tricks our exhibits staff have played in the museum galleries.
Use #museumfool to share your experience on social media.
Where: The Royal BC Museum
675 Belleville St

What: The Last of Mitchell’s acrylic paintings will be on display in the gallery. As the Artist switches over to oil as a medium, like the end of an era, these large pieces stand as a testament to his skill with the medium.

What: UK based singer-guitarist Brett Smith-Daniels has performed on stage with Mick Taylor of The Rolling Stones, toured North America and the UK, and has been featured on CBC’S Dragons Den, as well as conducting interviews for BBC Radio 1, and The Independent (UK). March 30th he is joined by local musicians Dougie Bedell of Pastel Blank on bass, and virtuoso drummer Cole Burns of The Leaks on Drums for a night of Blues, Soul, and Rock and Roll classics at The Loft.
Where: The Loft
229 Gorge Rd East

1900 Douglas St
