RCMP and fire crews arrived at the Wildcat trail in Colwood on Sunday afternoon, after a family science experiment gone wrong set off a brush fire in the area.
The View Royal Fire Department, Colwood Fire Department, and West Shore RCMP arrived at Wildcat trail in the area of Cairndale Rd and Veterans Memorial Parkway after the family quickly called 911 when their bottle rocket set off a fire.
It was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported. However, it could have been much worse.
