The Pat Bay Highway southbound off-ramp at McKenzie Avenue was closed briefly Monday afternoon following a motor vehicle incident involving a bicyclist.
The collision which occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. involved a bus and cyclist.
In a release, Saanich Police said the cyclist using the off-ramp travelled across the road into the path of a BC Transit bus that was travelling in the same direction.
The cyclist was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators have determined that the BC Transit bus driver was not at fault.
A recent update from the Drive BC Twitter account states that the area is now clear but travellers should expect delays.
