There are few local government officials with the charisma and confidence of returning Langford Mayor, Stew Young. After boasting that he didn’t spend a dime on his campaign, his get-things-done attitude and work in developing the young city, has clearly left a positive impression on voters.
Whether it’s his focus on public safety, job creation, or the hot topic of affordable housing, his main priority remains keeping the community safe, and putting money back in the taxpayer’s pocket, and seemingly being the island mayor that residents can’t get enough of.
With only seven people running for just six seats on Langford City Council, spirits are high people will be having their voice represented.
