Victoria woman to appear on new season of Canada’s Worst Driver

Victoria has a reputation of not having the greatest drivers, and now Canada’s Worst Driver has picked up one of the Island’s own.

32-year-old Brittany Dube was nominated for the show by her sister, Mia, and will appear on the 14th season of the Discovery Channel show.

Dube has been in roughly 20 – 30 accidents and amassed $80,000 in tickets and vehicle repairs

“Between the bedazzled car console, oil diffuser, adorable puppy, mid-driving make-up application, and an ever-chiming cell phone, it’s no wonder Brittany has anxiety while driving,” said Dube’s participant bio.

“Since learning to drive, she’s received approximately 50 tickets ranging from a DUI, running red lights, speeding, and distracted driving; she’s also been involved in 20-30 accidents, written off 4 cars, and accumulated $80,000 in tickets and vehicle repairs.”

Dube can be seen 0:26 seconds into the trailer.

The structure of Canada’s Worst Driver features all contestants “graduating” at the end of each episode, with the last person standing at the end of the season being awarded the title of “Canada’s worst driver.”

For the show, Dube and her coworkers have contributed $100 each to a pool to see if Dube will last all 12 episodes and become the country’s worst driver.
