There’s so much fun to have this long weekend and so many Easter chocolates to eat!

Whether you’ve got little ones eager to hunt for eggs, or are just looking to have some fun with your family, here’s the 411 on Easter events this long weekend.

Saturday, April 20th

7th Annual Oak Bay Easter Celebration

The 7th Annual Oak Bay Easter Celebration will fill the green space and parking lot behind Oak Bay Municipal Hall again this Saturday. Activities include face painting, arts and crafts, balloon masters, and the candy scramble.

There will also be a collection of non-perishable food items for The Mustard Seed Foundation. The Oak Bay Police and Fire Departments will also be in attendance.

Easter Egg Hunt for everyone

Each age group will have a chance to hunt for an assigned coloured egg. This magical egg can be redeemed for a scoop of foil wrapped chocolate eggs.

All donations welcome. Profits will go toward reconciliation activities in the Fairfield Gonzales neighbourhood.

Neal Estate Team’s Easter Egg Hunt For BC Children’s Hospital

More than 30,000 chocolates and other great prizes, face painting, colouring contest, the Easter Bunny and more! Come early for parking, registration and activities. Suggested minimum donation $5, 100% of which will go to the BC Children’s Hospital.

Saanich Kids’ Easter Egg Hunt

Come celebrate the Easter season at Saanich Kids’ annual Easter Egg Hunt. Don’t forget to bring your own basket!

Westshore Community Easter egg Hunt

Games, activities for kids, live music, and Egg Hunts for all ages throughout the afternoon. Come for the egg hunt, stay for the fun!

Family Easter Party at George Jay School

You’re invited to take part in this incredible Easter egg hunt, featuring games, prizes and a FREE lunch!

Easter Eggstravaganza at Oaklands!

This sell out event features an outdoor Easter egg hunt on the grounds of the Oaklands Community Centre, children’s crafts and activities, and a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Easter Egg Hunt in Royal Bay

Bring your ‘littles’ out to Meadow Park in Royal Bay for an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20th. There will be crafts to make, cookies to decorate, face painting, food, live music and fun!

  • Where: Meadow Park, Latoria Blvd

Tillicum Elementary Egg Hunt

Bring the family for the free Egg Hunt, with special prizes from local businesses. There will also be coffee for the parents. The hunt starts at 10:30am and is recommended for ages 2-10.

Timed release of children from youngest to oldest. “Safe section” for the youngest ones. Make sure to bring a bag or basket for your kiddos!

Family Easter Party Emmanuel Baptist Church Victoria

This free event features Easter egg colouring followed by a riveting hunt. Patrons are also invited to hear the story of the Resurrection.

Sunday, April 21st

Easter Brunch & Egg Hunt

Spring has almost sprung and Easter celebrations call for an Empress-ive buffet brunch for the entire family under the sparkling crystals of Fairmont Empress’ legendary Crystal Ballroom.

Brunch attendees are invited to join in the Easter Egg Hunt at 11:30 a.m. with a guest appearance by the Easter Bunny.

Easter Egg Hunt

Hop on over to Dominion Brook Park for an Easter Egg Hunt with the Peninsula Celebrations Society. Panorama will be onsite with some egg-citing children’s activities and face painting! Parents and grandparents are welcome to take part in the fun.

Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch

A festive brunch buffet followed by an easter egg hunt for the little ones in the garden. Hunt starts at 11 a.m.

Vegan Easter Egg Hunt

Bring your Vegan Kids, Baskets & Bunny Ears! To cover the costs of the candy and supplies there is a small fee of $2 per child.

  • Where: Sierra Park, Gordon Head area

City Centre Park Annual Easter Egg Hunt

This is a FREE community event. There will be a 3 waves of easter egg hunting depending on age of the kids. You will also find inflatables, craft stations and face painting.

  • Where: Eagle Ridge Centre, 1089 Langford Parkway

Easter Egg Scramble

This free easter egg scramble invites kids up to 11 years old to hunt for eggs! Bring a basket or grocery bag or something to hold them all! There will also be draws for some bigger baskets of goodies.

Bear Mountain Resort Community Easter Egg Hunt

All ages welcome! Meet the Easter bunny, face paint, bouncy castle and other easter activities for the entire family.

  • Where: The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa, 1999 Country Club Way

Metchosin Community Easter Egg Hunt

An Easter Egg Hunt, great refreshments for the family, prizes and more!

Monies raised will be going towards three charities: 1) The Anglican Church Refugee Sponsorship Program 2) Wild ARC – this is an important cause for the children of St. Mary!  3) The Shelbourne Community Kitchen which supports families with food security and community in the Victoria area. Three great causes!

Easter EGG-stravaganza

The Esquimalt Lions are again proud to present their annual Easter Egg Hunt at Gorge Park. The event includes entertainment, food, crafts, face-painting, and of course, a massive Easter Egg Hunt.

Monday, April 22nd

CrossFit LoLo Easter Egg Hunt

The festivities begin with a FREE 45 min family workout at 11:00am! This event is for both parents and kids age 8+ years. No candy – eggs contain tokens for prizes and toys.
