Vic Voices Writing Workshop with Award-Winning Poet Alessandra Naccarato
Join award-winning poet Alessandra Naccarato downtown for a detailed and creative writing workshop.
Based out of Salt Spring Island, Naccarato’s long list of awards include the CBC Poetry Prize and The RBC Bronwen Wallace Award from the Writer’s Trust of Canada.

Paper Street Theatre Improv Festival
To celebrate its fourth year, instead of bringing in four companies, the Paper Street Theatre Improv Festival is bringing in four directors! This year’s festival features the Four Corners Collective: artistic directors from improv companies in Calgary, Red Deer, Victoria and Portland. Plus, a powerhouse ensemble of improvisers from around the Pacific Northwest including Calgary, Red Deer, Vancouver, Bellingham, and Portland!
Each night audiences will enjoy ensemble shows directed by the Four Corners as well as feature sets by these accomplished artistic directors.

Comedy Night at The Mint
Another Wednesday can only mean one thing, Comedy Night at the Mint!
Join hosts Morgan Cranny and Drew Farrance as they bring together some of the funniest stand-up talent that Victoria has to offer.

Postsecondary Diploma Showcase: VCM Chorale & Jazz Choir
Give your ears a treat and listen to the talented works of the Comusn/VCM Chorale and Jazz Choir.
The vibrant, song filled evening will showcase repertoire from the baroque to contemporary. Admission is by donation.

Cooking for One
This free cooking class held by Sands Funeral Chapel offers a chance to explore delicious and nutritious meals for anyone who may have experienced a loss.
The lessons are taught by Shaw TV’s Island Chef, Michael Williams, and will finish with a shared meal plus recipes to take home.
