Police recover nearly $3,000 worth of property stolen from Vancouver Island business

RCMP have recovered a significant amount of property stolen from Slegg Building Materials in Courtenay.

On May 14th, the suspect broke into the Slegg Building Materials facility in Courtenay and stole $3,000 worth of property before fleeing the scene.

Comox Valley RCMP then obtained a search warrant and recovered all of the stolen materials from a residence in Courtenay.

Investigators have arrested 37-year-old Bradley James Miller for the crime.

According to Cst. Monika Terragni, he now faces charges of break and enter, possession of stolen property, and breach of recognizance.
