VicPD releases 12 different aliases used by local rental scammer

Victoria Police are seeking public assistance in their search for a man with several outstanding warrants.

38-year-old Brandon Wildman is wanted in connection with several investigations involving theft from and damage to short-term and roommate rental accommodations.

He is also the person of interest in several rental fraud investigations in which police believe he rents short-term rentals, posts them online posing as the owner and then obtains damage deposits.

Hopeful tenants are unaware that it is a scam until it is too late, causing them to lose hundreds of dollars.

Wildman is believed to be using multiple aliases including:

  • Hayden Davidon
  • Brandon Lee
  • David Howden
  • Thomas Sommerville
  • James Chu
  • Chris Terrence
  • James Hauden
  • Christopher Townsend
  • Bruno Deckland
  • Eugene Tolbert
  • Chris Terance
  • Daryl Kingsman

He is described as a Caucasian man with a thin build, standing 5’10” tall. Mr. Wildman is balding, but often shaves his head and sometimes has a trimmed moustache or beard.
