Happy Monday, Victoria!

To welcome you back into the work week we have a stand-up comedy fundraiser for a good cause, inner harbour markets, a HarbourCats baseball game, and more!

Without further ado here are 5 things to do in and around Victoria today.

Sudden Death Standup

Are you interested in checking out some hilarious comedy for a good cause? Then you’re in luck because Blue Bridge at the Roxy is throwing a Suddent Death Standup fundraiser!

Some of Victoria’s funniest and most talented comedians will face each other head-to-head in a single-elimination battle of wits! Funds raised from this event will go towards repairing exterior damage to the historic Roxy Theatre in the heart of Quadra Village.

  • When: 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Where: Blue Bridge at The Roxy, 2657 Quadra Street

HarbourCats vs. Ridgefield Raptors

Come cheer on the Victoria HarbourCats as they take on the Ridgefield Raptors at Royal Athletic Park tonight!

This is the first time that Washington’s Ridgefield Raptors are coming to the island, so let’s show them how Victoria represents!

  • When: 6:35 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
  • Where: Wilson’s Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park, 1014 Caledonia Avenue

Free Afternoon Concerts in the Park

Head down to the Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park for today’s free summer concert in the park!

Every weekday during the summer a new musical performance or community program will take place at the bandshell. Today’s musicians are the Capital City Syncopators, a Prohibition-Era Swing band.

  • When: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Where: Cameron Bandshell, Chestnut Row.

Paint Nite at Fernwood Inn

Looking for a fun creative activity to do tonight that lets you paint your own masterpiece and bring it home? Then make your way to the Fernwood Inn for Marina’s Fier Feathers Paint Nite!

Enjoy a tasty drink and even better company as your group goes over how to create a stunning red-eyed owl! No painting experience required. You can also save $10 off your admission by using the code ‘ILOVEPAINT’ when purchasing your ticket.

  • When: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Where: The Fernwood Inn, 1302 Gladstone Avenue

Inner Harbour Summer Line-Up

Summer in Victoria always means one thing, the Inner Harbour Summer Line-Up!

Visitors of the Inner Harbour today can walk along the waterside causeway between Ship Point and the Steamship Terminal for a rotating line-up of street performers, musicians, food vendors, artisans, and First Nations artists, and more!
