UPDATE:

According to Nanaimo RCMP, 38-year-old Bobbi Walch was located at an undisclosed location and is safe, however, family members tell Victoria Buzz that they have not been contacted by police with an update and consider Bobbi still missing.

We don’t believe she is ok at all regardless of her walking randomly to a police station.  Very strange behaviour for someone who doesn’t want to be found.”

Earlier: Friends and family have taken to social media asking for the public’s help in locating a missing mom last seen on August 12th.

Bobbi Walch, 38, was last seen leaving her home in Nanaimo. She drove away in her 4-door black Pontiac Pursuit and has not been seen or heard from since. The license plate of the vehicle is HN0 69J.

Her family are very concerned about her whereabouts and safety and say this is out of character for her. A missing person case has been filed with the Nanaimo RCMP, but no alerts have been sent out as of this publication.

According to a family friend, Bobbi left home with no money, cell phone or change of clothes. Her last post on social media was on August 11th.

She is described as Caucasian woman standing around 5’6″ tall, has a slim build, short, dark curly hair, and green eyes.

There has been one unconfirmed sighting of her in Duncan last week.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
