Police are appealing for help in locating two missing Nanaimo men

Update: Jordan Moffitt’s, one of two missing men, has been located and is safe and sound, according to RCMP.

The 33-year-old’s family has been notified and they are grateful for the assistance provided by many in locating him. Nathaniel Fraser is stil missing.

RCMP are hoping the public can help them locate two missing men – in separate cases.

Police are looking for 33-year-old Jordan Moffitt, who was reported missing on Thursday, March 12th and 41-year-old Nathaniel Fraser, who was reported missing on February 24th and last seen by family members on February 20th.

Moffitt has no fixed address and is dealing with significant personal issues. His family is extremely worried about his well-being. His vehicle was recently impounded and he does have a cell phone.

Fraser also has been struggling with personal issues and is believed to be in the Nanaimo area.

Investigators have undertaken extensive searches for both men and have not been unable to locate them.

Moffitt is described as a white, 6-foot-2 and weighs 220 pounds.  He has blonde hair and grey eyes.

Fraser is described as white, 5-foot-10 and weighs 180 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes and a tattoo on his left arm of a Celtic design.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either man is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
