The Victoria Police are currently on the hunt for a suspect after a man was assaulted with a baseball bat downtown on Monday afternoon.
At around 3 p.m. on Monday, June 1st, police were called to the 900-block of Pandora Avenue a for a report that one man was assaulting another with a baseball bat.
Upon arrival, VicPD found that the suspect had fled the area.
The victim of the assault was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police believe that the suspect and the victim were known to each other, and the incident was isolated.
