2020 has been a heck of a year, hasn’t it?
In unprecedented times like these, we think almost everyone could use a reason to smile.
One local business on Vancouver Island business is looking to spread some Christmas cheer this holiday season by giving away $500 in gift cards to 5 lucky families this Christmas.
In order to do that, they need your help finding the families!
You can help by nominating a family who might need some financial help this year. Anyone who could use a blessing of Christmas cheer (and some financial help too) will qualify.
Submissions will be open until December 15th, and the winners contacted by December 17th.
Entrants must be living on Vancouver Island to be eligible to win and only one gift card will be awarded per family.
“Each participant not only has the chance to win a holiday gift card, but will be an integral part of the support-local initiative and community we are creating here,” said Chad McGillivary, President of BuyVi.ca.
BuyVi.ca, the island’s newest online shopping hub, allows only local businesses to promote and sell their products and services, meaning just Vancouver Island owned and operated vendors and businesses.
