Did you feel the rattle, Victoria?
If so, you like felt the magnitude 2.8 earthquake detected off North Saanich at 12:57 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
Many residents on the Saanich Penisula are reporting they felt the small tremor. Most are saying they heard a large boom after their homes rattled for a few seconds.
The quake had a depth of 19.6 km and struck 6 km east of North Saanich.
