This list couldn’t come at a better time as we see restrictions in BC and across the country slowly ease over the next several months.

According to U.S News and World Report, Victoria and Vancouver Island ranked #7 on the list of 15 best places to visit in Canada.

The report considered factors including affordability, entertainment options and diversity of hotels and resorts when compiling this list. They also considered user votes and expert opinions to assist in the ranking.

Victoria and Vancouver Island made the list with its quaint atmosphere and tribute to British heritage.

The city is abundant with tourist attractions that draw interest such as the Parliament Buildings and Royal British Columbia Museum.

Visitors can enjoy afternoon tea, touring history and museums, tasting wine and experiencing the marine life of the rugged west coast.

While Victoria has so much to offer, the ranking emphasises the importance of exploring past the downtown core to experience everything else the island has to offer.

Banff took first place on the list followed by Vancouver and Niagara Falls.
