Man arrested after breaking into storage locker in Vic West over the weekend

One man is in custody following after he busted breaking into storage lockers over the weekend.

At approximately 7 a.m. on Sunday, October 17th, VicPD officers responded to a report of a break and enter-in-progress at a storage locker. 

The crime occurred at a multi-unit residential building in the 300-block of Harbour Road. 

Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect within the storage locker he had broken into.

The suspect was arrested and found to be in possession of a number of weapons, including knives, a cattle prod, night vision binoculars, several break-in instruments and a significant quantity of methamphetamine.

After being arrested, the suspect was transported to VicPD cells where he was later released from custody with a court date and conditions. 

Recommended charges include break and enter, possession of break-in instruments and carrying a concealed weapon.
