Christmas cheer is in the air and Mayfair Shopping Centre has lined up a number of safe and exciting ways to celebrate to the fullest extent!
With spectacular holiday décor, and Christmas jingles in the air, the shopping centre offers an endless supply of seasonal experiences.
And to give people more time to enjoy all the festivities, Mayfair will be extending its holiday shopping hours beginning December 6th to 8 p.m. nightly (5 p.m. on Sundays).
On top of this, we have partnered with Mayfair Shopping Centre to giveaway a $200 gift card to kick off your holiday shopping – see the end of the article for details.
Without further ado, here are five things happening at Mayfair Shopping Centre this holiday season:
1. Holiday Workshop Series
Looking to wow a special person on Christmas morning with your perfectly wrapped presents but need a little help accomplishing that?
Mayfair Shopping Centre is offering a two-hour workshop teaching you how to wrap five medium-sized (think a sweater box) gifts using a curated selection of the highest-quality papers, gift toppers, gift tags, and ribbons from The Papery Victoria.
There will be two different workshops, one on Thursday, December 2nd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday, December 12th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
2. Visit Santa’s Ho Ho Hollow – Photos with Santa
Santa is here, and you’re invited! Visit the Santa’s Ho Ho Hollow across from the Gap for the quintessential holiday photo. Mayfair has partnered with the North Pole Picture Co. to present a safe, socially-distanced Santa experience for Victoria families.
This intimate, exclusive experience will allow for a calmer, more personal visit with Santa, tucked neatly away from the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping.

3. Mayfair has crafted up a Holiday Gift Guide
When it comes to Christmas shopping for others, finding the perfect gift can be a challenge, but don’t fret – the great elves of Mayfair Shopping Centre have crafted up a holiday gift guide to help delight that special person on Christmas morning.
From electronics to clothing or perfect care package, the gift guide has an array of ideas ranging in price points and all available from Mayfair retailers – click here to score some ideas.
4. Hours extended for more holiday shopping
It’s a busy time of the year and to make sure you have time to get your shopping in, Mayfair will be extending its holiday shopping hours beginning December 6th.
- Monday to Saturday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

5. Holiday décor instagrammable moments
Looking for instagrammable holiday moments? Mayfair is decked out for the season and have multiple locations set up throughout the shopping centre to capture those festive moments with family and friends.
