Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is starting off the workweek revealing he has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a Monday morning tweet, Trudeau said he’s “feeling fine” and noted he’d be working remotely this week while following public health guidelines.

Trudeau got his booster shot back on January 4th and urged Canadians to do the same.

“Everyone, please get vaccinated and get boosted,” he said.

It was last Wednesday night when Trudeau learned he’d been exposed to COVID-19 after one of his children tested positive for the virus.

At the time, he said his rapid test result was negative.

Meanwhile, protestors opposed to vaccine mandates and vaccine passports are gathered at Parliament Hill in Ottawa for the third day today – as part of the nationwide “Freedom Convoy.”

Over the weekend in Victoria, a video from Victoria Buzz staff shows a convoy making its way from up island to the BC Legislature supporting the Ottawa protests.

Locals were warned to expect significant delays in the downtown core on Saturday as thousands gathered in the inner harbour.
