North Cowichan RCMP have released an updated photo and vehicle decal information in the case of the missing father and daughter from Duncan.

The two were reported missing on January 23rd. To date, police and family have not been able to make contact with either of them.

Family reported them missing from their residence in North Cowichan and Duncan after a Family Law Court set out a joint custody agreement.

In the agreement, Jesse was to return Violet the same day to her mother.

Now, in an effort to assist in the search, RCMP have provided an updated photo of Jesse.

In addition, photos of decals similar to those on Jesse’s vehicle have also been provided.

“Today, we are releasing a photo taken on January 19th of Jesse and photos of decals similar to those on Jesse’s vehicle,” stated Sergeant Trevor Busch of the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.

“The 2005 Honda Civic that Jesse is believed to be driving has a holy sticker on one door, a fire sticker on the other door, as well as scripture related decals on the rear. We are hopeful someone may recognize either Jesse or have information about the whereabouts of his vehicle.”

Jesse is described as 36-years-old, Caucasian, standing 5’10” tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair (possibly shaved head or wearing a hat), with a beard.

Violet is described as 7-years-old, Caucasian, standing about 4’ft tall, and weighing 50-60 pounds. She has blue eyes and big natural curly hair.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact the police in your jurisdiction, or the North Cowichan RCMP at 250-748-5522.
