A Nanaimo breakfast restaurant is seeking witnesses after their outdoor patio was destroyed sometime early Wednesday morning.
When employees of The Breakfast Nook, located on Selby Street, showed up to work on June 8th, they found pieces of their outdoor patio littering the street in front of the restaurant.
According to Nanaimo RCMP, at approximately 5 a.m., people living nearby the restaurant reported hearing a vehicle crash and came out to inspect.
The patio appeared to have been run over with significant debris littering the street.
However, the vehicle in question had left the scene and was not located. No description of the vehicle was provided.
