VicPD are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who is alleged to have fraudulently withdrawn thousands of dollars from a Victoria bank earlier this year.
According to VicPD, on January 26th, a woman approached a teller at an undisclosed bank, deposited a fraudulent cheque, then withdrew $20,000.
VicPD confirmed with Victoria Buzz that there was no hold put on the cheque.
Unfortunately, the woman left the bank before the fraudulent transaction was recognized.
The female suspect is described as being between the ages of 20 to 30-year-old. She is Caucasian with long brown and blonde hair.
At the time of the crime, she was wearing a dark jacket with a fur-lined hood.
