A three foot long ball python has escaped its home in Oak Bay.
Oak Bay Police are asking for the public to keep an eye out after the snake’s owner reported it missing on Friday, October 7th.
The python was last seen at its residence in the 2000 block of Oak Bay Ave.
After its home was thoroughly searched, animal control determined that it was somehow able to escape from its enclosure as well as the residence it lived in.
Ball pythons are not venomous and Oak Bay Police want to assure the public that this snake has no fangs.

Owners are concerned the python will not survive due to the cold temperatures over the weekend.
