Police are seeking dashcam footage after a two-vehicle crash near downtown Victoria last week.

The collision occurred on Quadra Street at the intersection of Summit Avenue resulting in one of the vehicles crashing into someone’s home.

VicPD, paramedics and firefighters were all called to the scene of the collision at around 12:45 p.m last Friday, March 10th.

According to police, the investigation suggests that two vehicles collided on Quadra street initially, but then one of them crashed into a street sign before ending up in the bushes bordering someone’s residence.

The second vehicle struck a fence on Quadra Street before crossing traffic diagonally, going through a fence and ultimately crashing into a residence.

One person involved was taken to hospital by paramedics with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are asking anyone who has dashcam or footage from the area of Quadra Street and/or Summit Avenue from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 10th to call VicPD at (250) 995-7654.
