Share

This April, the Royal Theatre is excited to announce the return of National Geographic Live presentations for students.

The presentations offer a rare opportunity to experience explorers, photographers, filmmakers and scientists as they share their personal stories of conservation, exploration, and adventure.

The educational opportunity is designed to help engage students in real-life topics connected to BC’s curriculum.

National Geographic Live Student Presentations feature:

  • A unique learning experience with high-definition photos and video hosted by a National Geographic Explorer
  • An introduction to the majestic Royal Theatre
  • An hour long presentation that includes an engaging Q & A with a National Geographic Explorer

On Tuesday, April 25th, Paraclimber Maureen Beck will host the first feature presentation sharing her story of pursuing her passions as a competitive rock climber, securing two world championships in the process.

With her trademark humour and wit, this 2019 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year will chronicle her journey as one of the foremost leaders in the sport of paraclimbing.

Tickets for this presentation are $10 and for every 10 students, one free chaperone ticket will be provided.

To register for this engaging event guests can check out the event page.
