VicPD are seeking help from the public after electrical panels at the Royal Athletic Park were reported damaged on March 14th.
On Tuesday, City of Victoria staff reported that the electrical panels at Royal Athletic Park had been damaged between 10 p.m. on March 7th, and 6 a.m. on March 8th.
The damage including cut wiring, damaged junction boxes and breakers is estimated to be approximately $5,000.
Investigators say the damage may have been caused by people attempting to tap into power there.
In addition to the repair costs, damage of this sort is known to create significant electrical and fire risks.
VicPD is encouraging anyone with information or surveillance footage of the vandalization to call 250-995-7654.
