BC SPCA offering 50% off pet adoption prices in Victoria this weekend

Share

Get ready to open your hearts and homes to furry friends because the BC SPCA is offering 50% off all adoption fees in honor of National Adopt-a-Shelter-Pet Day.

This is the perfect opportunity to give an animal a second chance at a forever home and add a little more love to your life.

The half-price adoption event will take place the entire weekend from April 28th to 30th at all 36 BC SPCA locations.

By adopting an animal, you’re not only providing them with a loving home but also freeing up much-needed space in the animal care facilities for other animals in need.

If you’ve been considering adopting a pet, now is the time to do it!

With extended hours and special activities for the public, this weekend is going to be filled with love, cuddles, and furry friends.

“Animals come into our care through no fault of their own,” said Adrienne McBride, the BC SPCA’s senior director for Community Animal Centres.

“Sometimes guardians just aren’t able to care for their pets and they seek our help to find them a new home. In other cases, animals are seized from dangerous or neglectful situations.”

The goal of the BC SPCA, says McBride, is to provide emergency treatment and a safe, loving environment for animals – either at an SPCA facility or in a foster home – until a new family can be found.
