There’s a boat show happening in Sidney this weekend

Share

Ahoy there, boat enthusiasts!

Get ready to set sail for Sidney, as the BC Boat Show makes its triumphant return this spring to Port Sidney Marina.

The event runs from May 4th to May 7th and will have a shuttle bus from the BC Ferries terminal to the marina for those visiting from the mainland.

Hosted by the British Columbia Yacht Brokers Association (BCYBA), this in-the-water boat show is the biggest on the west coast, and a must-see for anyone dreaming of their own yacht.

With around 200 boats of all shapes and sizes on display, visitors can tour the latest models, explore used boats, and chat to certified yacht brokers about all the features on offer.

But it’s not just boats – marine businesses will be showcasing their wares, from navigation electronics to clothing.

And if you’re looking to buy, brokers are often prepared to offer special pricing for at-the-show sales.

Kids are welcome too, so bring the whole family and set sail for Sidney’s beautiful Port Sidney Marina.

There will also be a number of activities available, including a tour of the oldest working ship in British Columbia, the Providence Tall ship, built in 1903.

Tickets for the event start at $13 each ($11 for senior) and can be purchased online or in person. Kids 16 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
