Get ready for a day of fun and community-building at Quadra Village Day this weekend!
This exciting, annual event is happening on Saturday May 13th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Kings Road between Quadra and Dowler, and it’s 100% free for everyone to attend!
The day kicks off with a delicious free pancake breakfast, snacks, and coffee available to all from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.—but that’s just the beginning, stick around for live music, dances, inflatables, children’s activities, and more.
You won’t want to miss performances by some amazing artists, including Claire Coupland, The New Groovement, Kerry Krich and Victoria High Dancers, Wong Sheung Kinf Fu Club, Sons of Norway Leikarring Dancers, and Victoria Ballet Youth Company.
But the fun doesn’t stop there!
You can also participate in a Uminari Taiko Drumming Workshop, where you’ll learn some basic taiko techniques and play a short taiko song.
And there’s plenty of other activities to keep you entertained throughout the day, such as interactive art, plant potting, community booths, henna and face painting, carnival games, kids games, inflatables, and much more.
