‘It’s a bunanza’: BC SPCA offering half price on bunny adoption

Don’t miss this limited-time bunanza extravaganza!

The BC SPCA has reported a large influx of rabbits coming into their care — including pregnant rabbits who are then adding to the cute and fluffy population.

To encourage adoption and ensure these bunnies find a forever home, they are offering 50% off on rabbit adoption fees!

“The recent large intake of rabbits has definitely made the need to find forever homes more urgent,” says Adrienne McBride, the BC SPCA’s senior director for Community Animal Centres.

McBride also says that bunnies love companions, so why not buy two for the price of one? Or provide a current bunny with a companion if you already have one.

“When they feel safe they show affection in a number of ways,” McBride said.

“They nudge you with their nose or circle your feet and when they are happy and content they flop.”

How cute is that?!

Additionally, there’s no need to worry about unexpected rabbit babies if you adopt two during this sale — the adoption fee includes the spay or neuter.
