Nanaimo RCMP seek public’s help finding missing 38-year-old man (UPDATED)

UPDATE: The missing 38-year-old man last seen on Friday, July 21st has safely located, according to Nanaimo RCMP.

Nanaimo RCMP have released a statement asking for the public’s help in locating missing 38-year-old man, Dustin Krook.

According to police, Krook lives in north Nanaimo, he doesn’t drive, and has limited access to money. 

He is said to frequent the trails that lead to the ocean in that area. 

Krook’s is described as a Caucasian man, standing at 5”9, with a slim build and short blond hair. 

He was last seen on Friday, July 21st wearing grey jogging pants and is said to likely have a black backpack with him. 

Police said Krook has family on Quadra Island and RCMP in that area have been notified.

Based on Krook’s recent behaviour and comments made, there is concern for his safety and well-being.

Anyone with information on where Dustin Krook might be are asked to call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
