Police release surveillance footage after thefts at two Colwood construction sites (VIDEO)

West Shore RCMP are seeking the public’s help in identifying a possible suspect vehicle following a series of thefts at two construction sites in Colwood.

The incidents occurred in the early hours of June 21st. Since that time, police have released surveillance footage showing a truck driving through one of the construction sites in hopes it will advance their investigation.

According to West Shore RCMP, at least two thefts took place at the construction site located near Ryder Hesjedal Way and Trumpeter Street.

In these two thefts, the suspect reportedly stole various construction tools and equipment.

After conducting an extensive search of the surrounding area, police believe the suspect may have been driving a grey full-size pickup truck.

To aid in their investigation, West Shore RCMP have released a video showing the vehicle they believe the suspect may have used in hopes that members of the public may be able identify the truck and its driver.
