Get ready to be dazzled, Victoria!

The Music by the Sea Festival has launched their August lineup with performances in Victoria.

This finely-curated program of classical and jazz music will take place in the Victoria International Marina from Tuesday, August 1st to Saturday, August 5th.

Each unique show will start at 8 p.m. — just in time to catch a beautiful sunset off of the harbour while enjoying this intimate concert experience.

“Moving classical and jazz music; breathtaking virtuosity…[and] spectacular seaside settings. That’s how Music by the Sea has enchanted for over 15 years,” said Christopher Donison, Artistic Director of Music by the Sea.

Noteworthy artists include Texas-based classical guitar duo Chad Ibison and Janet Grohovac on August 1st and 3rd.

On Wednesday August 2nd, pianist/vocalist Louise Rose will take the stage with her powerful lyrics and enthralling stage presence.

“To hear Louise Rose play on a full-sized concert Steinway piano, in the intimate and beautiful setting of the Victoria International Marina will make for a transcendent musical experience for our audiences,” said Deborah Bricks, Marketing Director and Front of House Manager of Music by the Sea.

Nick Apivor, a respected Vancouver percussionist, will also be performing on both August 4th and 5th.
