Prepare your taste buds, Victoria!

Community-driven and celebrating all things local, the District of North Saanich and Destination Greater Victoria are excited to present you with the North Saanich Flavour Trails Festival.

It will take place from Friday, August 18th to Sunday, August 20th, and will feature a collection of 18 vendors — taking visitors all over Saanich to explore the rich and delicious venues our farmers and creators have to offer!

Hosted by Sandown Centre for Regenerative Agriculture, this self-guided flavour tour presents local farmers, fishers, food producers, chefs, vintners, brewers, cider makers, and distillers.

Businesses and farms include Howl Brewing, Island Lavender, North Saanich Farm Market, Victoria Distillers, Kallaynee’s Kitchen, and more!

All you have to do is take a look at the map (which includes the open hours for each location) and go — pick and choose or do them in numbered order, it’s up to you!

As described, there will be more than just food and bevies to enjoy during this sunny weekend — check out things like sheep shearing and live music too on August 19th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and August 20th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For all the pedalers out there, they’ve once again partnered with Capital Bike to bring you readily-available bike routes, so pump up your tires and let’s go!
