A magnitude 4.5 earthquake—previously believed to be a 4.2— struck near Washington state and many Greater Victoria residents are reporting they felt the tremor.
The earthquake struck around 7:21 p.m. Sunday night. It was located about 3 km southwest of Marrowstone, Washington with a depth of 55 km.
Many residents in Greater Victoria reported feeling the shake.
As of this publication, there has been no reported damage and no tsunami is expected.
