A gourd-geous forecast for Halloween is expected in Greater Victoria

Share

Halloween is just around the corner, and the Greater Victoria region is gearing up for a day filled with tricks, treats, and perhaps a few surprises.

But what can residents and visitors expect in terms of weather for this much-anticipated holiday?

According to Environment Canada, it seems that Mother Nature has a treat in store for us this Halloween.

On Tuesday, October 31st, Greater Victoria is forecasted to experience a mix of sun and cloud, making for a day that’s perfect for outdoor festivities.

The daytime high is expected to reach a comfortable 11 degrees Celsius. This means you can expect to enjoy some pleasant autumn weather as you embark on your Halloween adventures.

As the sun sets and the trick-or-treating hours approach, the temperature will drop. The nighttime low is projected to be around three degrees. While this is not an arctic chill, it does mean that you’ll want to ensure your Halloween costume includes some extra layers to keep warm.

The good news for all the little ghouls and goblins planning to hit the streets in search of candy is that there are no signs of rain in the forecast. This means you can expect a dry and relatively clear night for your Halloween escapades.

So no matter your plans,  it looks like Halloween weather in Greater Victoria will be quite agreeable this year.
