VicPD are seeking witnesses after two fires were set in a business downtown in the 800-block of Store Street.

On Saturday, September 30th at 8:30 p.m., Value Village employees were first alerted to a product rack on fire within the business.

The flames were reportedly eight feet high and staff were luckily able to put out the fire using multiple fire extinguishers.

A little while later, staff were told of another fire inside the store. It was smaller and had been put out by a customer.

Investigators are looking to speak with two women who were seen in the store at the time which  police believe may have seen the suspect(s) as well as any other potential witnesses that saw anything or anyone suspicious.

VicPD are urging anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward. Anyone with any information is asked to call (250) 995-7654.
