According to the Condé Nast Traveler’s 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards, three hotels on Vancouver Island have made the list of top 10 hotels and resorts across Canada.
Specifically they were featured in one of two categories, including the ‘15 Top Hotels in Western Canada’ and the ‘Top 10 Resorts in Canada’—all of which Vancouver Island got within the top 10.
The first category highlights the Brentwood Bay Resort located in the serene ocean-front beauty of Brentwood Bay.
Charming and luxurious, this 33 room boutique resort is a go-to for many travelers and those in search of a romantic getaway. They scored #9 on this esteemed list!

The second category is home to the Oak Bay Beach Hotel and the Fairmont Empress right here in Victoria!
Right along the shores of the Pacific Ocean, the Oak Bay Beach Hotel is an alluring siren call for those hoping to stay somewhere magnificent with a wide variety of vacation amenities.
They’ve scored the #7 spot for Western Canada and the #1 Hotel spot for Vancouver Island!
