Choice Hotels Canada has rallied the national winners of its 2023 Awards for Property Excellence (APEX) and the results are in!
Named for Best New Entry in the Ascend Hotel Collection category, the newly remodeled The Vic has taken the crown alongside the 12 other hotels that have been nationally recognized for customer service and operational excellence.
The Ascend Hotel Collection is a network of upscale resorts, historic properties and boutique hotels that offer guests a uniquely local experience.
This is the first APEX award for The Vic, having opened its doors at the end of last year!

The Vic underwent a complete, full-scale renovation in 2022—transforming the lobby and
public spaces, and guest rooms as well as creating a new exterior facade.
The newly completed property features a spacious and stylish lobby, apartment-style suites with LED mirrors, rainfall showers, Smart TVs, kitchenettes, and more.
