Value Weekdays: WHL Victoria Royals

Treat yourself to some Tuesday hockey at an exceptional price!

The Victoria Royals invite you to to witness an epic game against the Red Deer Rebels and let your cheers fill the entire Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

You can grab tickets for as low as $10 and pay premium prices for food and drinks—including $5 beers and $3 hot dogs.

Open Mic at Phoenix Bar and Grill

Hosted by local comic Lucia Ribeiro, anyone and everyone with a talent they’d like to share is welcome to perform at the Firebird Open Mic event!

So, whether you’re a comedian or a musician, you can take the stage at Phoenix Bar and Grill and strut your stuff.

Musical performances are limited to two songs.

Waubgeshig Rice at Bolen Books

Literary lovers, heads up!

Bolen Books is thrilled to host the National Bestseller and finalist for the 2023 Canada Reads Awards, Waubgeshig Rice, as he presents Moon of the Turning Leaves, the hotly anticipated sequel to Moon of the Crusted Snow.

This event is free to attend and all ages are welcome!

There will be books for purchase and a signing as well.

Maude’s Trivia Night

Widely popular and always worth the trip, Maude’s returns for another Tuesday of epic trivia!

Bring your team and get ready to crank out some wild facts, play along to win prizes, and treat yourself to some of Maude’s delicious beer-battered fries and beer on tap.

Trivia starts at 8 p.m. but make sure to come early — especially if you have a larger table, otherwise you’ll have to come back next week!

No fee to play.

Victoria West Coast Swing

Come learn how to swing dance at the Eastern Star Hall Chapters No 5 & No 17 — no partner or experience required!

It’s only $5 at the door and then a quick liability waiver.

They ask that you bring your own water but leave any snacks at home.
