‘Get on the stretchy pants’: There’s a new Christmas-themed food tour coming to Victoria

Share

It’s time to slip into your comfiest and stretchiest pants for the newest holiday event!

Launching on Friday, November 17th, guests are invited to partake in the ‘Cozy Christmas Food Tour’, organized by local food tour company Off The Eaten Track.

Gooey melted cheese, decadent truffles, peppermint bark, spiced nuts, and a luxurious hot chocolate are just a few of the samples included in this new two-hour guided walking tour in downtown Victoria!

This festive tour starts at the Off The Eaten Track gift shop inside the historic Steamship Terminal Building for a sample of Nuts & Bolts, a Todd family tradition that has been served every holiday season since the 1960s.

From there the tour visits four other local culinary stops led by a local foodie tour guide including Rogers’ Chocolates, Bon Macaron, Crust Bakery, L’Apero Wine + Cheese Bistro, and Chocolat & Co!

The tour also includes history, stories, and a visit to the Festival of Trees inside The Bay Centre.

“What better way to celebrate the season than indulging in holiday-themed dishes, walking among the bustling decorated streets, and visiting a few local boutique shops for a chance to score some exclusive discounts,” said Bonnie Todd, owner of Off The Eaten Track.

The tour isn’t just about savoring delicious bites—customers will also have the chance to shop for some thoughtful gifts from local businesses including the Victoria Market Collective and the Papery!

The Cozy Christmas Food Tour will run every Wednesday to Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., November 17th to December 31st!

Adult tickets cost $65 and youth 18 and younger cost $55 and will include a 10% discount off of anything in the Off The Eaten Track gift shop that is locally made.

What better way to get into the holiday spirit? See you there!
