Police are investigating a robbery at a Saanich convenience store Friday night.

Last night, the 7-Eleven store located at the intersection of Feltham Road and Shelbourne Street fell victim to a robbery, where two employees were on duty.

At approximately 6:16 p.m. on November 24th, an unidentified man entered the store, his face concealed by a mask. Without brandishing any weapons, the suspect handed over a note demanding money.

The suspect, described as a Caucasian man standing around 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slim build, was clad in a black hat, a black hooded sweater, and a black puffy vest bearing a small white logo between the shoulder blades.

Additionally, he wore beige or green pants and black and white Vans classic skateboard shoes.

“Our Patrol Division is investigating a robbery that occurred at the 7-11 on Shelbourne Street. In addition, the Forensic Identification Section were called out to the scene to gather evidence. If anyone has information in regard to this crime, please contact us,” stated Sgt. Kowalewich.
